Everyone has stories to tell... We love to tell stories, and listen to stories. Real life stories, tall tales, ghost stories, traditional tales, myths, historical stories -- you name it. We gather in October to hear professionals tell stories that make us laugh, cry, or gasp, at our annual Forest Storytelling Festival. The festival takes place at Peninsula College. We gather monthly to hear a featured teller entertain us for an hour, and then stick around for open mike where anyone may step up and share a story. Swaps take place at the Port Angeles Library Raymond Carver Room. We sometimes gather around St. Patrick's Day for Irish stories, or in summer for a Liars' Contest, or at other events.
