The Olympic Peninsula Wedding Expo is Back!

Once again, wedding vendors and party suppliers have the opportunity to connect in-person with engaged couples, potential brides and grooms, and other event planners who are searching for local vendors to help create their perfect day. 

Becoming a Vendor
The vendor booth fee is $150 (Note; this is the same as it was three years ago in 2020. Rather than raise registration fees for an industry that has been hit so hard by the pandemic, we are seeking more donations and other creative ways to offset the rising costs of the event)
  • The Expo will be featured in a special Wedding insert of the Peninsula Daily News, published Jan. 24th, 2023. The expo is also being promoted through radio advertisement, social media ads, and email blasts.
  • Each Vendor booth comes with an 8 foot table, two chairs, linens (choice of white or black tablecloth) and a pipe and drape backdrop if desired.
  • Limited power is available for booths that require it to produce their display.
  • Brides and Grooms will receive a goody bag at the door. Each vendor is asked to provide some kind of swag such as a free sample, a discount coupon, a small gift, or any type of item appropriate for the goody bag. 
  • Coffee, tea, soft drinks, and light refreshments will be available to vendors throughout the event
  • Vendors will have a private breakroom area
  • Larger booth space may be possible. Additional charges may apply, depending upon space available. 
  • We are seeking a florist who may be interested in exchanging booth space for discounted goods or services. If interested email events@portangeles.org
Setting Up:
Setup begins at 8 am on Sunday, January 29th. Vendors may use the loading zone and unload through the double doors on the north side of the building, or through the glass doors at the end of the walkway from the east parking lot. Please let us know on your registration the approximate time for your arrival, especially if you plan to use the loading zone. Also please let us know if you need any other special accommodations such as an unconventional booth shape, accessibility requirements, additional space, or other special needs. 

Additional Information
As the Chamber of Commerce it is our mission through the wedding expo to provide marketing, increase exposure, and generate business for local wedding vendors and party planners. We hope you'll join us in showcasing the Olympic Peninsula as a world-class wedding destination with extraordinary venues, top-notch purveyors, and the ability to fulfill the needs of even the most discriminating clients throughout Washington State and beyond  

2020 Metrics
Of course it's impossible to know how anything will be compared to "before", but the 2020 Wedding Expo attracted about 135 brides and grooms, along with additional friends and family members, for an attendance of approximately 400 people. Future brides and grooms were not the only attendees, as many others came to gather information on planning parties and events that were not wedding-specific. We charge a small admission fee of $5 in order to reduce the number of looky-loos and tire kickers, to focus on attracting those who are actively seeking wedding and event professionals.
